SENIOR CITIZEN DAY:
Golaghat Nirman Mahila Gut NGO, Bengenakhua, Golaghat in association with District Social Welfare Deptt., Golaghat, and Kamrup(M) observed Senior Citizen Day at Golaghat Town and Guwahati on 03/10/2023 and 04/10/2023. Both District Social Welfare Officers, Doctors and many other senior citizens delivered their lecture. They delivered their lecture about the various Govt. Schemes for senior citizens, Right of the senior citizens and health related issues of senior citizens.
DRUG DE-ADDICTION DAY:
Golaghat Nirman Mahila Gut NGO has observed Drug De-Addiction Day at Golaghat and Kamrup(M) Districts on 26/06/2023. The guest speaker has delivered valuable lectures about spreading the drugs of our society, among the youths and how to reduce the consumption of alcohol & drugs amongst the people and our new generation may lead their life completely drug free.
NATIONAL CONSUMER RIGHTS DAY & WORLD CONSUMER RIGHTS DAY:
The organization observed National Consumer Rights Day & World Consumer Rights Day at the head office of the organization. More than 300 people were participated the programme.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
The organization observed world Environment Day on 5th June 2023 at Bengenakhua,Golaghat. Daylong activities including tree plantation, sapling distribution, and art competition were organized to mark this occasion. More than 190 people participated in the programme.
RABHA DIVAS
Rabha Divas was observed in a befitting manner at the organization’s head office, situated at Bengenakhua. The daylong programme had a bouquet of activities like song and dance performance, recitation etc. Social Workers along with other distinguished persons were present in the programme.
INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY
Our organization and a Local organization jointly observed International Literacy Day at Bengenakhua on 8th September 2023, with a day long programme which started with a tree plantation drive followed by devotional song competition and art competition among the school students distinguished guest invitees form different sectors like, Banking and educational institutions gave their opinions in support of women literacy. More than 310 Nos. participated and benefited from the programme.
